The job You will work directly with children and young people, 3 team leaders, other social care professionals and foster carers. This residential home provides a caring and safe environment for young people who can not live with their natural parents for a variety of reasons. Most young people have very difficult behaviour, resulting from abuse and neglect.
This service is being redesigned and you will have the chance to help shape and design the new service. You will be 1 of 4 Social Pedagogues, working with 3 UK team leaders and one UK home manager.
The home has a capacity for up to 8 young people aged 11 to 16. Some young people will live in the home, other young people will have their needs assessed in the home. Shift work is required, including weekends, but no sleep-ins are required.
