We are looking for Residential Child Care Workers and Senior Residential Workers for Childrens Homes in London and Kent
Employer: Private Employer
Salary: Residential Support Worker: £16.500 £19.500 Per Annum inc. sleep-ins
Senior Residential Support Worker: £19.500 £22.000 Per Annum inc. sleep-ins

Role: Residential Support Worker VR/788 (4 positions) & Senior Residential Support Worker VR/789 (2 positions)
This is not open to anyone needing a work permit/worker accession card
Description:
You will provide care for children and young people in a therapeutic home setting. The children have complex needs relating to their health, education, welfare and development. You will empower them to meet their full potential and to become successful, confident and responsible individuals.
For the senior position you would additionally be required to lead a shift/team, including providing supervision to staff and working in partnership with other professionals such as teaching staff.
Requirements:
Degree in Social Work, Pedagogy, Psychology, Education or other relevant qualification. NOTE: GSCC registration is not required
Willingness to work shifts including some nights and weekends
Excellent English
Experience working with children and young people with behavioural difficulties in a residential setting
Passion for delivering best practice to children in care
Able to work with challenging behaviour
Able to be a positive role model
Adaptability, creativeness, initiative and perseverance
Driving licence
Willingness to undertake training
Able to lead teams, in a positive and nurturing manner (for senior position)
Able to manage resources, including vehicle, staff, and facilities on site (for senior position)
